About Us

YoProducts is a company with an important mission: To support the Spinal Cord Injury community.

YoProducts was started in 2022 by co-founders and brothers Jesse and Elliot Sternberg.

Jesse Sternberg, a C5 quadriplegic, was paralyzed from the neck down by a drunk driver in 2013 at the age of 18. For years he’s faced the struggles of one of the worst injuries known to man, which has given him a unique perspective and massive drive.

After being addicted for years, he was able to get off of all prescription painkillers using cannabis. The appreciation of cannabis as a substitution for painkillers has grown even more intense after his mother passed away from a prescription drug overdose in 2021.

Meanwhile, as Jesse came to terms with his injury, he was welcomed to this amazing and historically underserved community that he, like so many others, had unexpectedly joined. From the many friends he made down at the Miami Project to the international experiences he’s had in Thailand and Switzerland, Jesse has really come to feel deeply involved in this wide web of people who’ve learned to live with such a brutal injury.

So, when he had the idea for the product, YoTips, Jesse realized he could give back to the community that had given him so much. He asked his brother, Elliot, to help him start the company, and with some assistance from their father, David Sternberg, YoProducts was born.

As a family that has seen how hard it is to deal with a spinal cord injury, the Sternbergs have made their mission with YoProducts to help as many members of the spinal cord injury community as possible.
